The Brookline community is invited to attend a virtual Town Budget Forum next week, where residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the town’s budgeting process and provide input on budget priorities.
The forum, which will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. via Zoom, will be led by Town Administrator Chas Carey. Carey will discuss municipal finance and Brookline’s own budget process, and will provide an early outlook on the 2024 fiscal year budget.
According to the town’s announcement, the forum is an opportunity for residents to ask questions, provide feedback and contribute to the development of the budget. The budget will continue to take shape over the coming months and will eventually go before Town Meeting for approval in the spring.
The Town Budget Forum is open to all members of the Brookline community, and individuals can register ahead of time by visiting the town’s website. After registering, individuals will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to join the Zoom webinar.
This is a great opportunity for residents to get involved in the budgeting process and ensure that their voices are heard. Don’t miss this chance to shape the future of your community by attending the Brookline Town Budget Forum on Jan. 31.
